I have been extremely lazy about posting this past week. I have a cold that has been kicking my a**. So I can’t even begin to tell you how many posts I have started and completely lost my train of thought…mid-type…my medicine is no joke…I hate being sick. At any rate, I’m slowly getting over it…and now I know what happens when you miss going to the gym an entire week…your immune system goes into attack mode to teach you a lesson.
I did get a chance to catch up on some reading. I found an interesting article from Marisa Miller — swimsuit and Victoria’s Secret model — that I wanted to share with you guys. Excerpt:
Swimsuit model Marisa Miller shares how she keeps her body in top shape for Victoria’s Secret fashion shows and Sports Illustrated swimsuit shoots — she eats naked.
“Eating smart is all about having an awareness of your body. The most obvious way to do that is by seeing it,” explains Miller. “So when you’re trying to lose weight, spend more time wearing less. I don’t think I could eat a plate of nachos naked — could you?”
Miller’s other tips are more run of the mill; have brown rice and quinoa in the fridge to eat with vegetables and get small, individually wrapped chocolates to eat when a craving calls instead of large desserts.
How effective do you think eating naked would be? I mean…aside from the obvious weird/creepy/awkward factor…could you really eat food in nothing? I don’t care if I am eating a salad, I’m not doing it with no clothes on. Then again…If I looked like Marisa, I would never wear clothes either. I wouldn’t have a job or skills or know how to read. I would just be…naked…and that’s pretty much what she does.
